Kollywood actress, Asin Thottumkaal, made his first of many Tamil films in 2004 with a supporting role in "m. Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi" earn his title as Tamil Actress, although he made films in several languages. Trisha has done 19 movies to date, with three more in production this year alone, the last release was in 2009. ASIN was seen in these movies Tamil: m. Kumaran son of Mahalakshmi (Tamil debut), Ullam Ketkumae, Ghajini, Majaa, Shivakasi, Varalaru, Anavaram, Aalwar, Dasavathaaram Pokkiri, Vel, and most recently, Ghajini that she is also his biggest commercial success to date.

Twenty twenty-six year old actress has a lot to his credit at a young age, including several best actress awards from various organizations, such as Filfare and Stardust Awards for best debut and most promising newcomer. Thottumkal also dabbled in modeling, a client is Colgate, before starting his acting career. In 2001, the aspiring actress/model shifted to Chennai from Kochi to pursue his acting career, making his debut in the screen, with Narendra Makan Jayakanthan Vaka by Sathyan Anthikkad. His determination, beauty and talent has made her popular Bollywood directors.

Tamil actress, Asin (Asin meaning pure) Thottumkaal can be seen in several Tamil films, but was born into a Catholic family in Kochi, Kerala, October 26, 1984. His father was a successful entrepreneur and his mother is a surgeon; Asin's father later stopped handling its numerous companies to manage the career of his daughter. ASIN has many film awards under his belt and at a very young age is already an established actress. The actress says her favorite thing is the simplicity and she despises dishonesty. This brown-eyed beauty speaks five languages and has a degree in English literature at the College of St. Teresa in Cochin. ASIN is truly a success story for his generation.
